With Support of the Southern Transitional Council, Education Office of Sheikh Othman Launches the First Summer Camp for Talented and Gifted Students

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Education office of Sheikh Othman launched the first summer camp for talented and gifted students from July 7th, to August 8th, 2018, with support of the southern transitional council and under supervision of Aden local leadership with cooperation of Sheikh Othman local authority. The camp is launched under the notion of “Ethics are our Slogan”
Essam Abdu Ali, vice chairman of the council’s local leadership in Aden, praised the efforts of Sheikh Othman education office in launching the camp adding that the council is willing to support such fruitful programs to help students reach positive outcomes. He indicated that education is the cornerstone for creating the future and serving the society.
Anwar Rajeh Mehdar, director of Sheikh Othman education office and supervisor of the camp, indicated that the summer camp is based on a positive educational mission to provide talented and gifted students with opportunities to express their creativity and acquire new skills. He added that such camps improve students’ gifts and tendencies through lectures, training courses and artistic performances. He asked everyone to participate in this effort to help students become a good example for all students indicating that “Ethics are our Slogan” is not just a notion, but a true behavior for all participating students. He thanked the southern transitional council for supporting the program.
The launch was attended by several public figures of the local leadership of the council in Aden and officials of the education office. The camp includes training courses, lectures and contests in poetry, signing, theatre, painting, shapes, sports, ecology, religion and cultural activities.
