Al-Afkham: ITI Will establish New Center in Conflict Zones in the Arab World Including Yemen

On the sidelines of honoring the International Theater Institute during the events of Cairo International Festival for Experimental and Contemporary Theater, the Silver Jubilee round, Eng. Mohamed Saif Al-Afkham, chairman of ITI indicated that the ITI is concerned with helping Arab theater artists in conflict zones as the ITI supports the Arab Theatrical Movement through its centers in Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait and Tunisia in addition to establishing new centers in Yemen and Oman. The Silver Jubilee of CIFCET witnessed a theoretical axis titles “Theater under the Roar of Bombs” that discussed the consequences of wars and armed conflicts on theater in the Arab region with total absence of Yemeni representation.
