Negotiation Delegate of the Southern Transitional Council Ends Consultative Meetings with UN Envoy Mr. Martin Griffith
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Amman – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Negotiation Delegate of the Southern Transitional Council ended Consultative Meetings with UN Envoy Mr. Martin Griffith, his deputy and consultants in his office in Amman on Tuesday October 30th, 2018.
The delegate asserted the council’s support to peace efforts and care for succeeding UN Envoy’s efforts to reach an inclusive and just peace.
The delegate also confirmed continuing consultations with Un Envoy’s office to guarantee that the southern people will gain its full legal and political rights in any upcoming consultations or negotiations according to UN Convention and peoples’ right of self-determination. They also asserted that overcoming the southern cause is by all means a violation of the established political reality in the south and this violation will never lead to any guaranteed solutions as real desired peace starts with the southern right of determining their political future during the peace process led by the United Nations.
