The Southern Transitional Council Announces Readiness to Represent the South in Any New Talks

[su_label type=”info”]SAMA News – Al-Makla[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] Presidency of the southern transitional council held its regular meeting on Sunday morning at Al-Makla – Hadhramaut. The meeting was headed by Aidarous Al-Zubaidy, president of the council. The meeting discussed several issues of the southern governorates and the outcomes of the council’s visits to Shabwa, Hadhramaut and Al-Mehra. The meeting praised the warm welcome of citizens and their positive reactions to the declaration of the national assembly and local leaderships in these governorates. The meeting also discussed the tragic situation of the southern people because of poor life and services conditions in addition to significant deterioration of the national currency in front of foreign currencies. The meeting announced resentment of corrupt behaviors leading to this deterioration and called for the Arab Ally countries to urgently interfere to stop this deterioration. Concerning the meeting of ministers of foreign affairs of the Arab Ally countries held in Riyadh, the council asserted its partnership with the Arab Ally in fulfilling the goals of the Storm of Determination Operation and anti-terrorism war. The council also announced that the south is ready for participating in new talks under commandership of the southern transitional council. Furthermore, the council indicated its full support for completing the formation of Elites Forces and Security Belt Forces in all southern governorates and praised the role of UAE in anti-terrorism activities and the victories achieved by the security belt forces during the past two days in Al-Mahfed – Abian. The council called for all southern citizens to support the elites and security belt forces in this war.
