A Southern Activist Meets UN Delegate to YEMEN and Delivers Files

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Amman – Exclusive – Nasr Al-Esaey[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] On Wednesday November 22nd 2017, Anis Al-Turkey, a southern activist who attended Berlin meetings organized by Berghof German institute among Yemeni parties, met Ismail Wald Al-Sheikh, UN delegate to Yemen, in his office in Amman – Jordan. During the meeting, they discussed the situation in Yemen and Al-Turkey delivered a detailed explanation of the southern cause and several other issues concerning violations of human rights and war crimes committed by Al-Houthi and Saleh militias in Adan and the south. Al-Turkey delivered several reports, including report of MADAR Center for Research Studies. Al-Turkey asserted the importance of real representation of the south in all upcoming meetings and talks concerning political settlement for the Yemeni crisis. Official personnel responsible for the southern file in the UN delegate’s office expressed his understanding of the southern cause indicating that a permanent office of the UN delegate will be opened soon in Adan.
