Biden and his National Security Team examin options for responding to the Houthis

The American media revealed that the President of the United States, Joe Biden, held a meeting with his national security team, in early January, to discuss options for dealing with the terrorist Houthis.

The meeting came after the Iran-backed Houthi militia repeated its attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, despite international warnings.

Former US Department of Defense official Adam Clements warned of the repercussions of Iran’s support for Houthi attacks in the Red Sea, stressing that the escalation represents many risks to logic.
