According to Egyptian authorities, Yemenis are required to get a visa from the Egyptian embassy in Yemen. This measure came after bitter criticism from Tawakol Karman, a Muslim Brotherhood activist, against the Egyptian regimen. Sources in the Yemeni embassy in Cairo indicated that the Egyptian government expressed its deep concerns and resentment of Karman’s recent claims against Egypt.
