Gulf Center for Human Rights Meets Independent Southern Group in Geneva
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Geneva – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] On the sidelines of the 39th round of UN Human Rights Council held in Geneva, Khaled Ibrahim, executive manager of the Gulf Center for Human rights, met Zaki Othman, member of the Independent Southern Group, as they discussed in brief the human rights situation in the south asserting the need for programs to build up capabilities of southern NGOs in this field. Both parties exchanged ideas about participation of southern NGOs in the center’s initiatives to guarantee equal opportunities between the north and south in that field.
The Independent Southern Group invited Khaled Ibrahim, executive manager of the Gulf Center for Human rights, to participate in a seminar held by the group on the sidelines of the 39th round of UN Human Rights Council held in Geneva on September 17th, 2018 as the seminar will discuss remarks on the experts’ report recently issued about violations in Yemen and demands of self-determination in the south.
