According to MAA News, Ayman Al-Safady, Jordanian minister of foreign affairs, continued his consultants with other Arab and Islamic ministers of foreign affairs on Tuesday to discuss the proper response to the US decision that Jordan considers as a step violating international legitimacy and UN convention in addition to supporting occupation. Al-Safady discussed serious consequences of the US expected decision with the Turkish minister of foreign affairs, Ahmed Daoud Ughlo, Abd Al-Kader Musahel, Algerian minister of foreign affairs and Nasser Bu Rita, Moroccan minister of foreign affairs. In addition, Al-Safady held extensive discussions with Saeb Orikat, general secretary of PLO executive committee to reach a plan to deal with the consequences of this decision that may increase stress in the region and compromises all efforts of final settlement. Al-Safady asserted that all international decisions and conventions asserted that the condition of Jerusalem is to be decided on only in the negotiations of final settlement and all Israeli single actions void. Al-Safady added that Jerusalem is a Palestinian, Jordanian, Arab, Islamic and Christian issue and any try to decide its fate through single actions will have serious consequences.
