Kassem Meets Al-Pero’s Permanent Delegation of the United Nations

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – New York – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Mr. Abd Al-Salam Kassem Mused , chairman of the foreign affairs office of the Southern Transitional Council in USA and Canada, met Al-Pero’s UN permanent delegation on Friday May 25th, 2018. Al-Pero is a non-permanent member of UN Security Council and chairman of international commission of sanctions on Yemen. The meeting is part of a series of similar meetings held by the foreign affairs office of the Southern Transitional Council in USA and Canada with permanent and non-permanent members of UN Security Council.
The meeting, held in headquarters of Al-Pero’s delegation in New York, discussed in details the situations in the south in addition to humanitarian and daily life difficulties suffered by the southern people as a result of irresponsible conduct of the legitimacy government that failed to provide the southern people with their necessary rights, including services, infrastructure and salary payments.
In the political context, the meeting discussed the good efforts of the new UN Delegate to Yemen according to a new vision and road map expected to be delivered by UN special delegate to Yemen, Mr. Martin Griffith, to UN Security Council members by mid-June.
Both parties agreed on continuous meetings in the future.
