Office of Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council in Washington Meets American and European Ambassadors and Parliament Members in the Congress

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Washington – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Abd Al-Salam Kassem Musaad, chairman of general directorate of foreign affairs of the southern transitional council in Washington, in accompaniment of Ahmed Al-Muthanna, executive director of the office and judge Ahmed Atef, attended the welcome party of ambassadors and parliament members participating in the annual European American consultative meeting (Trans-Atlantic Group TAG) held in the congress on Tuesday July 10th, 2018. The party was attended by ambassadors and parliament members from Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Germany, Bulgaria, Fenland, Netherlands, Romania, USA, Al-Pero and Guatemala, in addition to intellects of European and American Research Centers.
During the meeting, the role of the southern transitional council was presented, especially the success of the first round of the national assembly, as a core for the southern parliament and its handling for all tasks and duties required for the independence of the south. In addition, the suffering of southern people and failure of Yemeni government in running daily life of people.
Representatives of the southern transitional council in these meetings felt the understanding of all participants from all the countries to what is happening in Yemen, especially the role Iran and expansion ambitions of Tehran in Bab Al-Mandeb, Aden Gulf and the Red Sea, in addition to the successes of the southern resistance with backup of the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia and UAE in fighting terrorism and extremism and liberating the remaining territories from the control of Al-Houthi-Iranian coup militias.
These annual meetings that gather high rank officials, legislators, politicians, ambassadors and researchers from Europe and America are considered as major stations for evaluating policies of joint cooperation among nations and to discuss relevant issues for improving mutual relations that may contribute in solving many international and regional issues. The meeting expanded to include countries from Latin America for the first time during its tenth round.
