Since the outbreak of the Corona virus and its spread in the world, there have been many accusations during the recent period to China of leaking the virus from a laboratory.

In a new study, researchers at Nano Technology Center at the British University in Egypt, in cooperation with the University of Groningen and the German electron accelerator (DESY), to find out the truth about the new Corona virus, but the study published by the Nano Technology Center team denied this to confirm that it is very difficult for the virus to be lab made.

A team at the British University’s Nanotechnology Center in Egypt published an important research in the Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, which is one of the most important scientific journals in the field of physical chemistry, on the Corona virus and the possible causes of infection severity, compared to previous coronaviruses.

The research team found, through the study published in the Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, that the correlation between the emerging corona virus and lung cells is much greater than other viruses, as a result of natural developments in the protein in the membrane of the virus.

Dr. Mohammad Amin, professor at the University of Groningen and DESY and a visiting researcher at both the Nanotechnology Center and the Center for Theoretical Physics at the British University, explained that the shape of these changes and their combined effect of increasing that association is the result of natural development, and it is very difficult for the virus to be manufactured as some believe.

Dr. Amal Qasri, Director of the Center for Nanotechnology at the British University and member of the research team, noted that understanding the nature of the link may help to find a cure or weaken this link, thus weakening or eliminating the infection.
