Southern Transitional Council’s Office of Foreign Affairs in USA and Canada Participated in a Seminar Held by Watson Institute in Washington About Iranian Missiles Deployment.
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Washington – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] On Wednesday September 19th, 2018, Southern Transitional Council’s Office of Foreign Affairs in USA and Canada participated in a seminar held by Watson Institute in Washington about deployment of Iranian missiles. Mr. Brain Hook, especial US envoy to Iran indicated that Iran owns the largest missile arsenal in the region with more than ten systems of ballistic missiles, some of them capable of carrying nuclear warheads. He added that several interests in the region are at risk as USA notified Tehran that any assault against US citizens or properties in the region will receive a painful retaliation.
He indicated that previous nuclear agreements were wrong and failed as any new agreement should include ballistic missiles and not separating them from nuclear weapons. He also indicated that Iran provided Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi in Iraq, Syria, Hizballah in Lebanon and Al-Houthis in Yemen with ballistic missiles as Tehran used them as a claw for fighting countries of the region and we all witnessed the try to turn the region into a new Lebanon as part of the Iranian project. He added that we all know the risks and dangers of ballistic missiles launched by Al-Houthis over Saudi Arabia. We compare the case of targeting King Fahad’s airport in Riyadh with ballistic missiles to targeting Berlin or Paris and you can imagine the damages.
Mr. Hook also indicated that US administration will start its siege in November to block exports of Iranian Oil to zero so that Iran can no longer find revenues to use in supporting terrorists all over the world. He added that Islamic Republic of Iran is the major source of terrorism in the world. He also added that US administration will work with Iranian opposition outside Iran to help Iranian people inside as that people suffered a lot under the theocratic regimen of Mullah. He demanded call countries to cooperate with USA to put Iran under siege till Tehran is forced to correct the former nuclear agreement as more than 20 EU countries responded to US calls. He also indicated that any new agreement with Iran should be on the level of a treaty and not a dual agreement as the former.
