The US Navy announces thwarting 15 Houthi drones in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea

US Central Command announced on Saturday that it had thwarted a major attack by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

It revealed that 15 Houthi drones were shot down, saying that the drones represented an imminent threat to American commercial and naval ships in the region.
