Turkiye, Egypt may reappoint ambassadors ‘in coming months’ — FM

Turkiye and Egypt may mutually re-appoint ambassadors in the “coming months,” in a major step towards the restoration of full-fledged diplomatic relations, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Monday.

“Political consultations between deputy ministers could be rescheduled soon, and an ambassador might be appointed in the coming months,” Cavusoglu told the press.
