UN appoints Julian Harness to the position of United Nations Resident Coordinator in Yemen

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, decided to appoint Julian Harness to the position of resident coordinator of the organization in Yemen, to succeed David Gresley, after the end of the latter’s term.

The United Nations website revealed that the appointment of Harness, who will also work as coordinator of humanitarian affairs in the country, came based on the government’s approval, and he will begin his duties during the current month.
