US Ambassador: UN Delegate Will open An Office in Adan for Talks with Southern People
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Agencies [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] US Ambassador to Yemen, Mathew Toller, indicated that Mr. Martin Griffith, UN special delegate to Yemen, will open an office in Adan very soon to foster talks with key players in the south. In an interview with Al-Youm Al-Sabea, an Egyptian newspaper, Mr. Toller said: “I heard that Un delegate will open an office in Adan very soon to foster talks with key players in the south”. US Ambassador described A-Houthi regimen in the zones under its control as a “brutal regimen”. He said: “Everyday we see violations of civil and human rights in addition to widespread corruption”. He added: “USA is very concerned with the last acts of the militias, targeting civilians in Saudi Arabia with clear help of Iran”. He also said: “Washington and Riyadh are working together to face the Iranian influence and to defeat extremists in Syrian, Yemen and other places, in addition to breaking funds of extremists in the whole region”. He asserted that Washington is committed to supporting the UN special delegate “to guarantee a unified and secure Yemen that is not a safe place for extremist violent organizations like Al-Qaeda or ISIS”.
