US Foreign Affairs Initiates Travel Banning on Citizens of Six Islamic States
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Washington [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] US Department of foreign affairs announced that the travel banning on citizens of six States with Islamic Majorities, according to US president Donald Trump’s order, started from Saturday December 9th 2017. This procedure came four days after the Supreme Courte Decree allowing the initiation of the presidential order while legal appeals against it are under investigation. Trump’s order, calling for increased scrutiny measures in US embassies and consulates, directs departments of foreign affairs and internal security to restrict entrance of citizens from six states including Syria, Libya, Yemen and Iran in addition to Venezuela and North Korea. Department of foreign affairs indicated that issued visas before the order were not canceled according to new measures and restrictions can be canceled according to coordination between US authorities and these countries authorities to guarantee the safety of American citizens.
