A child gets killed due to Houthi mine explosion in Jabal al-Sha’ab al-Ahmar in Baher Mawiyah area of Taiz

The child, Arafat Abda Ghaleb Al-Wahaibi, was killed by a landmine explosion planted by the Houthi militia in Jabal Al-Sha’ab Al-Ahmar in Baher of Mawiyah district in Taiz governorate.

Local sources said that the 13-year-old child, Arafat, was hit by a mine while he was grazing sheep in Jabal Al-Sha’ab Al-Ahmar, which is controlled by the Houthi militia.

The Houthi militia had planted mines and explosive devices, fearing the advance of the legitimate forces stationed on the Tursa front in Al-Azariq, Al-Dhalea Governorate, towards the Mawiyah district of Taiz governorate.
