American ship destroyer shoots down 14 Houthi drones in the Red Sea

A US ship destroyer equipped with guided missiles, on Saturday, shot down 14 drones belonging to the Iranian-backed Houthi militia in the Red Sea.
The American ship guided missile destroyer USS Carney, operating in the Red Sea, engaged 14 drones and succeeded in shooting them down.
US Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, confirmed that the attacks by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia on commercial ships are illegal and dangerous, stressing the need to address them.
On Friday, the Iranian-backed Houthi militia admitted targeting two container ships that it claimed were heading to the Israeli occupation lands.
The terrorist militia claimed that the crews of the two ships refused to respond to the warning messages, an indication of the continuation of piracy operations against maritime navigation.
