Central Bank Governor meets EU Ambassadors Mission to Yemen in Amman

The Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen, Ahmed Ghaleb, held a meeting with the European Union (EU) Ambassadors Mission in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

Mr. Gabriel Munuera, Head of the European Union Mission to Yemen, stated on the X platform: “Important meeting with the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen. The European Union will continue to support the Central Bank in its efforts to stabilize the currency and strengthen the banking sector, support essential reforms to revive the economy and generate income for Yemenis.”

This meeting comes on the sidelines of the annual meetings between the government and the International Monetary Fund currently being held in Amman.
