Clashes between Libyan National Army and Turkey’s mercenaries after conclusion of Berlin conference
The airport road south of Tripoli witnessed violent clashes between the Libyan National Army and elements of the “Al-Wefaq” government-backed militia, after mercenaries ignite the situation.
These actions coincide with the conclusion of Berlin International Conference on Libya on Sunday.
The Libyan army has become so close from entering the Libyan capital Tripoli, after it took control of the strategic areas on the road at Tripoli airport, which raised the dismay and terror of the Turkish regime that supports terrorist militias in Libya, along with the two sides of the evil triangle in the region, which seeks to destabilize and prevent security.
The German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced that the conference ended with everyone agreeing to respect the arms embargo, which Turkey tried to impose in Libya by supporting armed and mercenary elements.
Merkel described the results of the conference as a new political start and a boost to support the United Nations efforts to bring peace to Libya, in which the Libyan National Army seeks to liberate Tripoli from armed terrorist elements.
