Egypt denies stopping navigation traffic in the Suez Canal

The Egyptian Suez Canal Authority announced today, Friday, that navigation is proceeding normally in both directions.

The head of the Suez Canal Authority, Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, denied any allegations that navigation in the canal had stopped as a result of developments in the Red Sea.

America and Britain launched a strike on several targets of the Iran-backed Houthi militia, using them to target commercial ships in the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
