The British Maritime Trade Operations Authority announced the evacuation of the crew of a cargo ship flying the Palau flag, after the ship caught fire and began to sink.

The US Central Command monitored the launch of missiles by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia that hit the ship “Verbena” in the Gulf of Aden, two days ago.

The Houthi attack on the ship led to a fire and the serious injury of one of its crew members.
