Extraordinary Meeting of Group of Experts on Counter-Terrorism Commences

The extraordinary meeting of the Group of Experts on Counter-Terrorism kicked off today at the headquarters of the Arab League, which will continue for three days with the participation of experts from the ministries of justice, interior, defense and foreign affairs in the Arab states and the secretariat general of the Arab Interior Ministers Council.
Director of the Legal Department at the Presidency of State Security Major General Salah Al-Jutaili headed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation to the meeting.
Director of the Legal Affairs Department at the Arab League and Official in charge of technical affairs at the secretariat general of the Arab Justice Ministers Council Minister Plenipotentiary Yasser Abdulminem noted that the meeting discussed means to activate the development of the group’s work in a way that keeps pace with the new challenges in the counter-terrorism field and the remarks of concerned agencies in counter-terrorism in Arab states so as to develop the group’s work.
