Israel targets Houthi leaders’ meeting in Sana’a

SMA NEWS – SANA’A
Israeli media reported that the Israeli Air Force carried out a major operation inside Sana’a, targeting sites belonging to the terrorist Houthi militia, resulting in the assassination of a prominent figure believed to have direct ties to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
According to Israeli media, the Israeli attack resulted in the death of the Houthi militia’s Chief of Staff, Mohammed al-Ghamari.
Israel’s Channel 12 reported in a breaking news report on Saturday evening that the Israeli army launched an airstrike on high-profile targets in Yemen, noting that the operation included the “assassination of a prominent figure” inside Sana’a.
The official Tel Aviv Broadcasting Corporation confirmed that the airstrikes targeted precisely identified sites, describing the operation as “very significant” if fully successful. It added that the operation represents a powerful and direct blow to Iran’s proxies in the region.
For its part, Israel’s Channel 13 quoted intelligence sources as saying that the attack was carried out using precision-guided drones, targeting a meeting of senior Houthi leaders. There are indications that a “precious catch” has been made, the identity of which has yet to be revealed, given the strict official secrecy surrounding the details of the operation.
