Israeli army announces interception of a missile fired from Yemen, and air raid sirens sound in central Tel Aviv

The Israeli army announced on Sunday that air raid sirens sounded in several areas after a missile was fired from Yemen.

Sirens were heard in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and other areas in central Israel, while correspondents later reported hearing the sounds of light explosions, according to France-Presse news agency.

According to the Israeli army, the missile was intercepted before it entered Israeli territory.
