King Salman: We Can Face Challenges with Coordinated Coalition

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Follow-ups[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] With the attendance of leaders and representatives of 24 countries, King Salman Ben Abd Al-Aziz attended the closing ceremony of “Gulf Shield Joint Maneuvers” held in Saudi Arabia. In a tweet on tweeter, King Salman said: “holding Gulf Shield Joint Maneuvers with participation of 24 countries confirmed that we can work in a coordinated coalition and a unified military body to face the challenges and threats of our region”. During the closing ceremony held on Monday April 16th, 2018, participating troops initiated a tactical air-born backup in addition to aviation shows. The maneuvers lasted for one month and are considered the biggest in the region considering number of troops, participating countries and types of weapons. During maneuvers, troops performed several military scenarios to increase military readiness of participating countries and updating joint security and military measures in addition to supporting joint military and security cooperation
