New Airstrikes Target Ras Isa Port in Hodeidah

SMA NEWS – HODEIDAH
US aircraft launched new airstrikes on sites in Ras Isa Port in Hodeidah Governorate on Friday evening, amid thick smoke rising from inside the port, which is under the control of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias.

Local media sources reported that US aircraft launched four airstrikes targeting the Ras Isa oil port in Hodeidah Governorate. They explained that the airstrikes were violent, amid the sound of loud explosions from inside the port, which the Houthi militias had transformed into a military barracks.

US aircraft had launched numerous airstrikes on the port in recent weeks, rendering it inoperable after it was transformed into a platform for importing Iranian oil, which funds the militias’ activities.
