#Saudi Arabia re-imposes curfew in #Jeddah for two weeks due to high number of people infected with #Corona
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia decided to renew the health precautions in the city of Jeddah for 15 days; Starting from Saturday, June 6 until the end of Saturday, June 20.
The decision came according to what was announced by a responsible source in the Saudi Ministry of Interior based on the health assessment submitted by the competent health authorities after reviewing the epidemiological situation and the high occupancy levels of the intensive care departments.
The Saudi News Agency quoted the source as saying that the applied precautions will include a curfew in all parts of the city from three in the afternoon to six in the morning, suspension of the performance of prayers in mosques, suspension of attendance to workplaces in ministries and government agencies and private sector companies, and suspension of internal requests in restaurants and cafes , and the continued permitting of internal flights, air and land, and via trains, and allowing entry and exit from the city on other than curfew times, and the prevention of any gatherings of more than five people, and the continuation of the groups excluded by previous decisions in the conduct of its work, taking into account that this is in the narrowest extent, and in accordance with procedures and controls developed by the concerned authority.
