The UAE takes over the presidency of the UN Security Council

The United Arab Emirates, on Tuesday, took over the rotating presidency of the United Nations Security Council, and it will continue throughout the month of March.

During that period, we look forward to working with all members to fulfill this great responsibility, the diplomatic mission of the Council said.

The UAE succeeded in obtaining a resolution from the UN Security Council, with the approval of 11 out of 15 countries, to tighten the ban on arming the Iranian-backed militia.
