UK appoints Ms. Abda Sharif as its new ambassador to Yemen

The United Kingdom announced the appointment of Ms Abda Sharif as new ambassador of UK to Yemen.
The official statement of the appointment came as follows:
Ms Abda Sharif OBE has been appointed His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen in succession to Mr Richard Oppenheim.
Mr Richard Oppenheim who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Ms Sharif will take up her appointment during September 2023.
