United Nations: 40,000 suspected cases of cholera in Houthi areas

The United Nations has warned of a rapid spread of the cholera epidemic in Yemen, with more than 40,000 cases suspected since October last year.

The organization monitored 160 deaths in areas controlled by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, with hundreds of new cases reported daily.
