US ambassador calls for safety of aid workers in Yemen

The US ambassador to Yemen, Stephen Fagin, called on the parties to the conflict to secure humanitarian workers and non-profit organizations.
He said that these are providing assistance to save the most vulnerable communities in Yemen, stressing that the threat of aid workers prevents the delivery of aid.
The Iranian-backed Houthi militia is targeting aid workers in its areas of control with kidnappings and arrests to deepen the humanitarian crisis.
