Violent clashes break out between the tribes and Brotherhood forces in Marib

Violent clashes broke out using various types of weapons between the tribes and the Brotherhood forces in Marib governorate on Saturday.

Local sources said that the clashes were renewed between the “Fajij” tribes and the Brotherhood forces near the government complex in the governorate.

The sources indicated that the tribes were able to burn a number of vehicles belonging to the Brotherhood and control a number of military sites and points.

It is noteworthy that the Brotherhood forces assassinated one of the chief sheikhs of the Marib tribes and eight others from his tribe during the week before last, which led to the outbreak of clashes with the tribesmen in the governorate.
