With Saudi – Emirati Investments, digging a Sea Channel that Will Turn Qatar into an Island
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Saudi Arabia Follow-ups[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Sabk, a Saudi newspaper, said that Saudi Border Guards Forces started to receive Salwa border exit with Qatar, in preparation for exciting a huge sea channel between the two countries. Sabk published exclusive photos of the receiving process by the Border Guards from Customs and Immigration department in a swift start for Salwa project. The newspaper indicated a few days ago that a massive touristic project that includes a huge sea channel along the borders with Qatar will be initiated from Salwa to Khour Al-Adid. The project will be initiated by an investment coalition of private sector. The project is announced while internal stress remains in the Gulf after Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt cut diplomatic relations and stopped all air, naval and ground transportation with Qatar on June 5th, 2017, leading to a massive political crisis among those countries in addition to a fierce media war. According to Sabk, the project will be funded by Saudi and Emirati investors while an Egyptian leading company in digging such channels will do the works and Saudi Arabia will assume full control over the the channel. Sabk also indicated that a Saudi military base will be established in the remaining kilometer of Saudi – Qatari borders while the rest of that kilometer will be turned into dup place for nuclear wastes of the Saudi nuclear reactor assumed by Saudi Arabia while the dup place of nuclear wastes of the Emirati nuclear reactor will be on the farthest spot of Emirati – Qatari borders.
