Yemeni-Saudi-Italian Talks on Developments in Yemen

Yemeni-Saudi-Italian talks addressed bilateral relations and developments in Yemen. The talks took place during separate meetings between Senator Stefania Craxi, Chair of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee in the Italian Senate, with Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaye Mohsen Al-Zindani, and Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir.
From Riyadh, Al-Zindani discussed with Senator Craxi and the accompanying delegation ways to enhance cooperation between Yemen and Italy, praising bilateral relations and Italy’s supportive stances toward the Yemeni government, in addition to its humanitarian contributions. For her part, Craxi affirmed her country’s firm position in supporting the Yemeni government and people, and its aspirations to end the war and achieve peace and stability. Earlier, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir and Craxi discussed aspects of joint cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Italy, as well as key regional and international developments, most notably the situation in Yemen. They emphasized the importance of coordination to enhance security and stability in the region.
