An earthquake hits at a distance of 230 km from the coast of Mukalla

An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale occurred on Thursday evening in the Gulf of Aden, according to meteorologists.

The seismic monitoring centers revealed that the tremor occurred at a distance of 230 km southwest of the coast of the city of Mukalla, at a depth of 12 km.
