Bakrit: Announcement of secession from the Sana’a regime is a milestone in the history of the South

SMA NEWS – AL-MAHRA
Mr. Rajeh Saeed Bakrit, a member of the Southern Transitional Council’s Presidency (STC), emphasized that the announcement of secession from the Sana’a regime was not just a passing moment, but a milestone in the history of the South, expressing a popular awareness that rejects any projects that undermine the identity of the South or undermine its uniqueness and national struggle.
On the 31st anniversary of the announcement of secession, Bakrit explained that the STC Council today renews its pledge to move steadily toward the restoration of the independent southern state. He pointed out that the regional and international partnership for the South stems from respecting the will of the people, contributing to achieving Arab national security, combating terrorism, and consolidating stability in the region from the perspective of a free South, not subservient to any foreign agenda.
The STC’s Presidency member emphasized that Al-Mahra Governorate, which has suffered marginalization, will be an active participant in the project of the future federal southern state, a state of partnership and justice that excludes and marginalizes no one.
