Do not allow Houthis to insult Abyan again!

SMA NEWS – ADEN THE CAPITAL
Written by\ Yasser Al-Yafei
The most areas in Yemen, north and south, that were subjected to humiliation by the Houthi militia are the central regions in Abyan. This was evident through the Houthi terrorist group insulting the former President, who is from Abyan, “Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi,” the symbol of the state at the time, in his house in Sana’a.
They did not respect his constitutional status, his old age, or his southernness. They surrounded his house, beat him in front of his children, and killed more than 15 of his family members. Not only that, they chased him to Aden after he fled, accusing him and his group of being ISIS and terrorists. Although there was no battle between them and him at the time, but during his reign, they reached Sana’a and turned against the state, and instead of thanking him, they insulted him!

They captured his brother, along with Faisal Rajab, the son of Abyan, and hid them for 8 years, depriving them of even communicating with their children. They captured “Nasser Mansour Hadi” while he was in full health, and he came out as a skeleton. “Is there any humiliation more than this?”

The Houthi militia set the condition of dismissing President Hadi in order to enter into a peace process with the rest of parties, and the Houthi did not respect the consensus that President Hadi enjoyed at the time. At that time, marches took place in Aden, refusing to dismiss Hadi or withdraw his powers for a deputy, and we all remember who directed these demonstrations in Aden when Aidarous Al-Zubaidi was its governor.

The Houthis assassinated one of the most prominent Abyan military leaders, the heroic commander Ali Nasser Hadi, and also killed hundreds of the most prominent leaders and personalities belonging to the Abyan governorate.

The Houthis sent their missiles to the camps in Marib and Abyan, and dozens of martyrs were claimed from the people of Abyan governorate. Abyan recorded decisive championships with its Salafist and its movement leaders against the Houthi militia.

Today, some cheap tools from the people of Abyan want to trade in suffering of this governorate and jump into the boat of the terrorist Houthi militia through a failed attempt to whiten the ugly face of the Houthi terrorist group, and trying to make a military and political breakthrough in the governorate, taking advantage of the issue of the heroic prisoner Faisal Rajab, who is expected to come out of the Houthi prison in an exchange deal in the coming days.

Follow their pages and posts, you will find that they are mercenaries in every sense of the word, and they are only looking for their self interests, not the dignity of Abyan, which was originally wasted at their hands.

I wish they would learn from the lessons of the past and present, and that central regions in Abyan are located and supported by the South, not Sana’a, and that Sana’a exploits them, always and forever against the South, eating them as flesh and throwing them as bones.

But the few mercenaries speaking on behalf of Abyan do not care about all of this as much as they care about their personal interests only.
There is a young elite of the sons of Abyan that must be promoted and must lead the political scene instead of a group of mercenaries continuing at all stages to speak in the name of Abyan to achieve personal gain for themselves while their regions are drowning in chaos, lack of services, and the spread of terrorist groups.

For the record, the malice and hatred of the Houthi that they inherited from their ancestors and those who preceded them in power towards the South appeared during the recent prisoner exchange consultations, as they refused to release Hadi’s brother except by releasing their captives in Al-Dhalea, expecting the refusal of the sons of Al-Dhalea, but their efforts failed, as the security belt forces and the resistance in Al-Dhalea took the initiative to release more than 50 Houthi prisoners in exchange for the release of Hadi’s brotherو and when the Houthi militia felt that it had failed to stir up regional strife through Hadi’s brother, it showed clear refusal to release Faisal Rajab, and began moving its cheap tools trying to achieve a political breakthrough in Abyan against the South, but the militia and its tools will fail.

Major General Faisal Rajab is a war prisoner. Do not deprive him of the honor of leaving as part of a prisoner exchange deal to complete his honorable history. Beware of exploiting him to stab the South, which will not have any effect other than depriving Major General Faisal Rajab of this honor.

Abyan will remain tall with its men and sacrifices, and I am sure that it will produce a new young national leadership capable of leading the political and development scene again.
