Mansour Saleh: The frequent escalation of the militias in Abyan is evidence of the agenda controlling legitimacy decision
SMA News – Abyan
The deputy head of the media department in the Transitional Council, Mansour Saleh, said in a statement to the international “Arab” that what happened in targeting southern military leaders in “Al-Tariya” front in Abyan represents a dangerous military escalation, indicating that “the Brotherhood militias use modern Turkish drones.” It differs from the previous type that the militia had used in the past weeks.
Saleh pointed out that this “escalation, carried out by militias that reject peace and affiliated with the extremist wing in the Yemeni government, is evidence of the agenda controlling the legitimacy decision and the Yemeni presidency, which is working to direct the war towards the south and its liberated provinces instead of the north.”
He added, “If there is no firm stance from the coalition towards this terrorist group and stopping its attacks on our armed forces, our forces will not remain silent and will not remain on the defense indefinitely, and the case of restraint will not continue at a time when our southern forces lose their men and leaders, and we have the strength and ability to deter the militias, whatever the size of Turkish military support, Qatari financial support, political support and cover by the authority of the so-called Yemeni legitimacy.
