Minister Al-Wali: The South is in the hands of its sons, and the responsibility for a better future is great

SMA NEWS – ADEN THE CAPITAL
The Minister of Civil Service and Insurance, Prof. Dr. Abdul Nasser Al-Wali, affirmed that the South today is in the hands of its sons, who are the ones running its institutions and working to rebuild them despite the challenges they face. This came in a message he delivered on the tenth anniversary of the liberation of Aden, emphasizing the importance of understanding the present and learning from the lessons of the past to build a more stable and secure future.
Al-Wali pointed out that the South fought a major military battle, in which its sons paid a heavy price in martyrs and wounded. He also noted that it is now fighting an equally important battle: the economic battle, which he described as the fiercest, as the people of the South face several challenges, including the ban on oil exports, the blockade of ports, and the shutdown of refineries. However, he emphasized that these obstacles will not deter them from working to find alternatives, break the blockade, and restart the refineries, considering it only a matter of time. Al-Wali likened the situation of the south to that of someone who has regained ownership but is still fighting a battle to prove it legally, referring to the political and economic challenges facing the south.
He emphasized that they are right and that they will continue the struggle with all their will and strength to regain their full rights.
The minister called on young people to shoulder their responsibility and work diligently and with determination to build their future, emphasizing that complaining and grumbling will not change the reality; what is required is diligence, planning, and tireless work.
Minister Al-Wali concluded his message by congratulating the people of Aden and the south on the tenth anniversary of liberation, calling for more work and solidarity for a better future.
