The upcoming changes in Shabwa and elsewhere can be read that the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement is an entry point to “modernize” the strategy of the war against the Houthis. This reading supports the erosion of all frontlines of empowerment, as well as the societal movement witnessed by Shabwa and the Hadrami uprising that aims to cut the financial nerve of forces that have been running their projects with funds from Hadhramout and Shabwa, and then operations last affliction carried out by the coalition against the Houthis
We cannot look at Shabwa in a separate context, as it is proven that the length of this war has proven to the coalition that the Houthi sectarian militia cannot be defeated by ideologically dynamic militias, even if it wears the “legitimacy dress” and manages to mobilize its army and security forces. The world will not accept the defeat of extremism to be replaced by another extremism!! Which dictates the modernization of the war strategy on Al-Houthi, if I want victory in this war or I want a political solution, and modernizing it will not be achieved by returning the tools of the strategy that failed seven years of war!! The Brotherhood is not as individuals. The individual has a right. Rather, octopus networks are intertwined in all departments, starting with the office of the president and his deputy, then the military and security joints that manage the war and also the administrative service joints. All kinds of Houthi extremism/terrorism/brotherhoods claim that they are one outcome and one danger, even if their voices differ
There is no doubt that changing the Brotherhood’s governor in Shabwa is an initial step in this strategy, as Shabwa is a contact area, but it is not enough. The Brotherhood is not a governor, a minister or a director. There is nothing wrong with their individuality; rather; an octopus network of solidarity, vertically and horizontally, administratively, financially, security, militarily, and even reached to dominate civil society organizations!! , this octopus dynamic network, and its success is not in its capacity; rather; In its occultism, solidarity, and pragmatic, totalitarian mind, a movement does not accept even citizenship except by the standards of its empowerment, proximity to it, its service, dedication to its implementation, and what else they remain on the sidelines waiting for Brotherhood guidance until they are rehabilitated or the converts are rehabilitated brothers from their offspring!! If the influence of the Octopus Brotherhood in the presidency system and the one controlling its decision in all areas is not curbed, the Brotherhood will continue to devour the body of any political or national project. As for the military project against the Houthis, it will not recover and will not win as long as the Brotherhood is consultative and controlling the war. They do not care about the Houthi defeat if not its defeat. It leads to empowering them and excluding and eliminating others
