The absurd war
Written by: Omar Mansar Alesayi[su_spacer size=”10″] [su_dropcap]O[/su_dropcap]n July 7th, this unfortunate day, all treaties of the union ended and became void. Hatred spread and vengeance became a claim from the south and southern for what happened during the seventies and eighties. Mottos over all military camps gates said “vengeance or shame”. Every thing was very clear when the first stone of the union fell down in Hashed tribe in Omran. Bloody events followed in Zemar camp then reinforcing the Giants brigade in Abian with four more brigades. Members of Al-Qaeda and those southern who returned from Afghanistan played a bloody role in assassinations. Tarek Al-Fadli and several other southern, who eventually gained positions in the military and security systems in the south, were accused for that. But now, we need to lineup as southern. We need to learn from our past mistakes. We need not to repeat them. This people suffered enough crises and deserves a better future for our sons and grandsons. We should benefit from our natural and human resources. This people had enough oppression and pain while our country is full of fortunes. Only a mad man is the one who has a jewel that he doesn’t know what it worth.
