I believe that the most important priorities for the Southern Transitional Council (STC) from my point of view to be implement with the recent development are:
Imposing a model in the ministries, governorates and government departments in which STC takes responsibility, so that the citizens feel the difference.
– Finding coordination with the southern ministers in the government from outside the STC, and forming a single southern bloc in preparation for entering the northern dialogue.
– That dialogue to be extended to all southerners, even those who stood against the southern will during the last period, and to agree on the fundamentals and constants that lay the foundation for a next stage entitled the south for all its children with all their different orientations
Correcting mistakes, imbalances and deficiencies in the council’s bodies and at the local leadership level in the governorates and districts, in line with the stage.
– Intensifying foreign moves with ambassadors, organizations and bodies to establish a relationship with them that will positively reflect on the southern issue and the aspirations of the people of the south.
Rehabilitation of the political, media and social cadres and activists of STC in line with the requirements of the next stage, and until this stage is prepared in all respects and trends.
– Containing the southern cadres who are still outside the STC and can be useful for it in various fields, political, economic, military, security and social aspects.
– Paying attention to the internal media content in a way that contributes to unifying the southern ranks, deepening reconciliation and tolerance, consecrating the southern identity and highlighting the sacrifices of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives until we reach what we have reached today, and in conjunction with creating a media discourse that addresses the brothers in the north and removes from them the negative influence left by the flags of the Brotherhood and the Houthis from incitement against STC, its forces, and the cause it carries and the slogan it raises.
Attention to foreign media as well, and to convey messages, goals, and aspirations of the people of the south abroad.
– Activating work within civil society organizations and establishing civil society organizations capable of keeping pace with the stage, especially in the human rights aspect.
