When Reality Slams Thieves of Light and Water

Unfortunately, statement of joint presidency of the supreme conference about the references of political solution in Yemen, hosted by general secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, breath out of sick lungs. One of them is BHen Daghar who hates the south, its cause and its people while the other is Muslim brotherhood who embrace historic hatred not only for the south but for the whole Arab region.
At the first article, Ben Daghar – as usual – was eager to confirm his concerns and envy on the southern patriotic project, not only in his poor speech full of disgusting meanings, but also through the words of the first article where his envy is very clear. He dedicated the whole article to confirm his so-called union, independence and sovereignty of Yemen! Actually, this article does not concern us in the south as it confirms that the thief is trying to claim property of what he robbed. When this robbed right returns to the hands of its legal owners who have the force to defend it, the thief claims it again with bold face and askes the court to turn it to him as “his right” while we are required to admit it! This is unprecedent impudence.
On the other hand, the same article clearly approves that “Galant Protectors of the Union” have nothing but begging for regional statements. They have no weapons to defend their dead union, just as its engineer Ali Abdullah Saleh. The only thing they have is ink poured over official documents in such conferences while reality is completely different.
What took my attention and made me wonder are the covert meanings of the third article and the cunning way the general secretariat passed it through. This is 100% Muslim Brotherhood article that serves their political agenda in the region. It literally says: “strenuous efforts of Gulf Cooperation Council should continue to reach a political solution in Yemen since the beginning of 2011 Yemeni crisis”. End of text!
This article demands the Gulf Cooperation Council to adopt a political solution to the so-called revolution of change initiated by Yemeni Reform Party with full Qatari and Turkish support and supervision. Al-Houthis participated actively in it too. The south was deceived in it but when its identity and goals are revealed, the south honorably withdrew. This article says, in one way or another, that this revolution was “taken by force from us” as Al-Houthis stole it with arms, and you, Gulf countries, should continue your strenuous efforts to solve it, as if the Gulf initiative was not formed from the very beginning to solve their whole problem!!
Logically speaking, if a sane person thinks that what happened in 2011 is a political crisis that need Gulf efforts to solve its consequences, he should necessarily consider what happened in 1994 as a political crisis, with the same logic and under the same standards. It is even deeper, bigger, wider and more legitimate as it happened between two partner Arab countries, while 2011 crisis was a result of a coup from one party of 1994 crisis, who occupied the south shortly after, against the other party. Actually, I don’t know the political logic behind recognizing 2011 events as a political crisis while not considering events of 1994 likewise, leaving it without solution.
The bitter reality says that if only one southern citizen was allowed to attend the session he would have asked a single question: if you consider what happened in Sanaa in 2011 as a political crisis that need a solution, what do you call what happened in the south in 1994? If the answer was repeated in an empty traditional manner as the southern cause was discussed in their national dialogue and was solved as they say, then the response should be that 2011 crisis was solved too according to the outcomes of the same national dialogue. Therefore, why are you asking the Gulf for continuous efforts? Isn’t is more convenient to ask for a solution for the southern cause that its representatives were denied attendance in your national dialogue, without even a Gulf initiative till now? Isn’t the Statement of Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting in Abha 1994 a solid reference of the southern cause and its solution?
