Al-Diyar Egyptian newspaper: “Al-Hazmi” of Brotherhood supported the Houthi militias in Sana’a with great money

 

 

The Egyptian newspaper Al-Diyar revealed a document it described as confidential, which showed the involvement of the prominent Brotherhood leader in the Yemeni Islah Party, Mohammad Nasser al-Hazmi al-Idrisi, by sending an amount of “8 million Saudi riyals” to the Houthi militias in Sana’a.

The Egyptian newspaper indicated that this money was collected by Al-Hazmi from the value of real estate and lands in Marib governorate, which he sold and sent the money to the Houthi militia as support for the war effort to confront the Arab coalition.

The newspaper also mentioned in a report attached to the document, that Al-Hazmi was involved in coordination with leaders of the Houthi militia to target the Arab coalition forces in Marib governorate, as well as forming media cells to carry out deformation campaigns and promote skepticism on the efforts of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in Yemen.
