Glorious October 14 revolution is renewed… Its flame is inherited by southerners

The 58th anniversary of the 14th of October revolution has returned to the South people in exceptional circumstances, linked to the military, terrorist and economy war, but despite those circumstances, the southerners still show their steadfastness and struggles, whatever these circumstances surrounding those great people.

On October 14th of every year, southerners commemorate their greatest achievement and a historic event that Arab South witnessed, 58 years ago, a dark page was turned in the history of this country, during which decades of oppression and foreign colonialism passed through.

 As President Aidaruos Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, said in his speech on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the October 14 Revolution, that this anniversary falls on our dear southern people and has embodied the legendary epic of the heroic exploits of the people of the South.

In his speech, President Al-Zubaidi referred to the participation of all the forces of the South in this glorious revolution, from the mountains of Radfan with the extend to all cities and countryside in the South, which crowned with independence on November 30, 1967.

Although our southern people suffer from difficulties and tragedies, they keep remembering this great anniversary and various activities organized by the executive bodies of the southern Transitional Council in different parts of the South, reviving this precious occasion were held.

The Southern Transitional Council in Hadhramout, held a popular celebration of 58th anniversary of the glorious October 14.

In the mass event that was held in the city of Mukalla, and under the generous patronage of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, the leaders of the Executive Authority, amidst a large crowd, honored the families of 600 martyrs of the Southern Revolution.

At the same time, various parts of the southern governorates witnessed popular celebrations organized by the local leaderships of the Transitional Council, celebrating the revolution of the south, the glorious October 14 revolution, and an affirmation of continuing the struggle until achieving the people’s will to restore the state in full sovereignty.

A mass rally and festive speeches were held in Al-Mahfad of Abyan governorate commemorating the 14th of October.

In which under the auspices of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Al-Mahfad district in Abyan governorate, a mass march and a speech festival were held on Thursday to celebrate the 58th anniversary of the glorious October 14 Revolution, amid strict security measures implemented by the southern resistance in the capital of the district.

 In Modiyah district in Abyan governorate, the local leadership of the Transitional Council in the district organized a massive mass rally, on Thursday morning, which roamed the streets of the district in celebration of the glorious October 14 revolution.

In the march, which was attended by a large group of citizens, the participants raised the flag of the south, and chanted southern revolutionary slogans and slogans, expressing their demands for the restoration of the state of the south with full sovereignty.

On the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the glorious October 14 revolution, also, the executive body of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the districts of Zinjibar and Jaar of Khanfar in Abyan governorate launched a campaign to decorate the streets of the two cities, by raising southern flags in the cities, in the celebration of the anniversary of the October 14 revolution.

The flags were spread at the entrances and exits of the two cities, and the flags of the south were raised at security checkpoints, tours, main streets and mountains.

 Civil and military leaders and officials, along with a large crowd of people in Radfan district, Lahj governorate, on Wednesday evening, lit the flame of the October 14 Revolution during a cultural and artistic ceremony, amid a large official and popular presence.

During a popular rally, on Thursday morning, the citizens of the Tur al-Baha district in Lahj governorate pledged to continue the struggle to restore the state of the south.

They chanted, during a mass rally, to celebrate the anniversary of the October 14 Revolution, the streets of the district, with revolutionary slogans and songs.
