In confirmation of the commitment of the security committee in the capital, Aden, regarding the disclosure of the results and developments of the investigations regarding the two terrorist incidents that targeted the convoy of the governor of the capital, Aden, in Hujaif of Al-Tawahi district, and the safe citizens at the site adjacent to the gate of Aden International Airport in the city of Khormaksar, the committee confirms that the security units and the competent agencies, after days through continuous and intensive work, the security committee was able to reach the parties planning and executing these terrorist operations, and was able to arrest a number of those involved, who made important confessions acknowledging the involvement of these parties in the planning and execution of the two terrorist operations.
The Security Committee, through this press release, will review before the public opinion the results of the investigations about the plotting parties involved in the two terrorist operations, with the publication of part of the inferences and recorded confessions collected by the competent security services from the elements involved and who were arrested after intensive investigations and follow-up operations. As follows:
First: The terrorist bombing that targeted the convoy of the governor of the capital, Aden, and the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries, in Hujaif area of Tawahi district, on Sunday morning, 10/10/2021, and five of the governor’s escorts were martyred. Investigations proved that the planners and implementers consist of a joint cell , funded and directed by the Houthis with the cooperation of terrorist elements led by the so-called Mohammed Ahmed Yahya Al-Maisari, and the so-called Ahmed Ali Ahmed Al-Mashdali Al-Baydani.
Second: The terrorist bombing that targeted a number of civilians in the vicinity of Aden Airport gate in Khormaksar district on Saturday, October 30, 2021, and resulted in five martyrs and more than 30 wounded. Investigations proved that the planned and executed party consists of a network directed and financed by the Houthi militia, and the execution of terrorist elements led by the so-called Salih Wadih Salih Al-Haddad.
Through investigations and confessions, it was found that the main perpetrators of the two terrorist operations were individuals affiliated with one of the commanders of the military brigades, and communication with the high command will be made to take the necessary measures in this regard.
The Security Committee, as it reviews the results of its investigations and reveals those involved in the planning and management of the two terrorist operations, stresses on all citizens, not to cover up any of the fleeing terrorist elements, and to cooperate with them to reveal their hiding places, and confirms that it will provide rewarding financial rewards to each of report, or provide any information to the security services, about the locations of these elements.
The Security Committee, while putting public opinion before the results of the investigations into the two terrorist operations, confirms that it will refer the files of the two operations and those involved in them to the competent judicial authorities, so that just penal sentences will be taken against all those involved, in order to achieve justice and implement justice and a victory for the families and families of the martyrs who fell in them.
