SMA News Observes Southern Activists Responses and Comments Resenting Ben Doghr’s Provocative Statements Against the South
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Adan – Special Report [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] Prime Minister of the Legitimacy government, Ahmed Obaid Ben Doghr, recently released provocative statements that raised a wave of resentment among southern citizens. During his meeting with his fellow dissidents of the Public Conference Party, Ben Doghr said that he will never allow to end the republic from Sanaa and at the same time he will never allow the separation from Adan. He added that he will fight for the union regardless the price that will be paid. SAMA News observed southern activists’ responses to these statements on the social media.
Ghassan Al-Jilany, a southern activist and member of SAMA News said in his tweet: Do you understand now the secret behind poor services in Adan and the policy of exhausting the southern people? Ben Doghr is ready for doing anything that serves his dead rotten project of the so-called union.
In his tweet, Ahmed Omar Farid Al-Awlaky, a prominent southern leader, said: Shame on you man. You bothered the whole world with your dead union. Better for you to bear your responsibilities as a prime minister.
Abu Hind Al-Shuaiby, a southern journalist tweeted: Listen to the prime minister of the legitimate occupation government saying “we will fight the separatists in Adan as we fought Al-Houthi in Sanaa. We have the right to fight and resist separatists and we will never allow dismantling the union in Adan”!!!
After sharing the statement video, Malek Al-Yazidy tweeted: Listen to the prime minister of the legitimate occupation government saying “we will fight the separatists in Adan as we fought Al-Houthi in Sanaa. We have the right to fight and resist separatists and we will never allow dismantling the union in Adan”!!!
Aidarous Al-Medwary, member and technical director of SAMA News commented: So, Is Ben Doghr going to fight the south from hotel rooms just as he once fought Al-Houthi? It is the will of the southern people and no one can force it to subdue, even if you managed to buy some fake southern leaders.
Lotfy Shatara, secretary of Department of Media in the Southern Transitional Council said: Ben Doghr said he will defend the republic against coup forces in Sanaa and he will defend the union against separatists in Adan. He forgot that he was the first to introduce the two-regions project while he was in the Yemeni socialist party before Ali Abdullah Saleh seduced him to join the Conference. He denied his own project when Saleh used him against Ben Shamlan in 2006 elections. Politicians like Ben Dighr, those who change their loyalties easily, can never build nations or preserve causes. And those who believe them are naive.
Mohamed Ali Hasan Al-Aslaf commented: I think Ben Doghr, son of Efash (Ali Abdullah Saleh), from his words, has ended the training of the union martyrs in Mareb against the south. In his statement, it is the union or death!!! He compares southern leaderships with Al-Houthi militias and calls for fight and confrontation!!! Only the southern solidarity will stop that arrogant person and show him who made victories, sons of the south or his fellow roommates in luxury hotels!!
Rawan Ahmed sarcastically commented: Ben Doghr said he will defend the union against separatists and talked about the Yemeni identity considering the replacement of the union flag with the southern flag as an act of violence!!! He added that conferences of his party will be held in all liberated territories as all northern citizens are welcomed to talk about the south!!!

Mohamed Nasser Al-Maziad, a southern activist, commented: Ben Doghr threatens the south from Palestine Hotel Halls!!! He meets with his northern fellows with full absence of any southern figure to talk about the south as if they were southern citizens!! He threatens to return the south under the flag of Sanaa.
